The first time I read this out loud was in the winter, with an awful cold, to my daughter. I had a hell-of-a-time keeping up with the 14+ characters that appear in the chapter. I stressed my voice to the limit to try and articulate them all meaningfully to my little girl. She was listening raptly  to find out what would happen next during the selection of the Triwizards Champions. She was as on the edge of her seat as I was the first time I read it. I’d torn through the first three books (sent to me by my father in the mail) in a few days. Thankfully, a friend had the UK version to loan to me so I could find out what was going to happen next.

This audio rendition – thankfully – only has 9 characters, not including Harry saying a few words, plus the narration. Ironically, my favorite character to do, Snape, only has one good sentence in this selection (and its really just me doing an off-Alan-Rickman impersonation, MayHeRestInPeace). But still, it would have been nice to have had more Snape to work on. It was tough to do Moody sans cold, as he cannot have a deep enough voice, IMHO. Enjoy!
